I am a printed textiles student, currently in my final year of university at UCA, Farnham; graduating in summer 2016. Throughout my degree, I have really been able to explore my love for colour and pattern-making. This often begins by collecting objects and also sketching and photographing places/items i'm inspired by. A combination of drawings, designed patterns and digitally manipulated material are then translated into imagery which will work well on screen. The majority of my screen printed fabric is therefore patterned and layered up with lots of colour. It can quite easily have its scale altered and is therefore intended to be multi-purpose and well suited to both fashion and interior use.
