school's out & we wanted a project for the kids before heading off on holiday!
here we took a plain old hessian bag and transformed it
into a fun bag for the beach

| we raided our cupboards and sorted out various fabrics choosing bright fun summer colours | start to lay out your design - we found templates online and experimented with different shapes and layouts until we were happy | once your design is taking shape start to attach your shapes using clear appliglue |

| use your template to cut and arrange the sections of the beach ball - we chose pistachio to edge the sections and prevent fraying | then start to add the different elements to the bag - you can see how we gradually add detail using some of the coloured glues | finally we used a selection of buttons to add our 'sun' to the picture |
